Laura Bradley Rede is the oldest of nine kids. She grew up in a small town in Maine and now lives in Minneapolis with her partner, their three children, one elderly cat, and a small flock of city chickens. She is a winner of the Writers of the Future Award for fantasy and science fiction and author of The Darkride Chronicles (DARKRIDE and CROSSFIRE).
